I'm so happy I have a local REAL Italian place that delivers as late as the chain pizza places near me. They are usually pretty fast, and everything I've had so far has been great. I usually order the family special, so I haven't gotten to try any of the pastas (yet!) but my kids love the pizza, and I don't know what they do to their salad, its nothing special, just a green salad with a little Mediterranean flavor, but it is addicting! Support local and try this place the next time you're ordering a pizza!

Definitely recommend! Mazara is one of the few restaurants between GrubHub and UberEats that ALWAYS reads my notes (i.e. please include side of ranch, etc.). The pizza (especially the Hawaiian) is wonderful (amazing sauce)! I also enjoy their meatballs, tiramisu and cheesecake.
FYI: Mazara just appeared on UberEats, but the delivery fee is way higher than GH. Often Uber shows a quicker ETA, but I almost always find my order via GH to be delivered in less time than estimated.

Wow. This is my new go to pizza delivery place! The pizza I ordered for delivery was very good. It came sooner than the estimated delivery time and the delivery guy was nice and professional. I am glad I gave a good tip. I will definitely be ordering delivery again and checking out the restaurant in person to try other things on the menu. The ingredients on the pizza were high quality so I would think the pastas, etc. would be tasty too.

Their food is GLORIOUSmy favorite local Italian place, hands down. Their crust is always baked to perfection, the sauce is deliciously seasoned, and their toppings are always fresh. (The cheese they use in their pizzas is so good!) Their cannoli: sublime. And the service? The warmest gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure of ordering from. Deliveries consistently arrive even earlier than scheduled, and always with a smile.

We dine in at this location all of the time. The people are friendly and the food is great. We always get the family special pizza, lasagna is great. Caesar salad dressing is amazing as well. Garlic bread is extra delicious. You won't be disappointed. We've lived in SD all of our lives and would make the trip to eat here, but now that we live down the block GrubHub is the quicker option.
